NFF charges that TNA leader R. Sampanthan's recent statements amount to separatism and says the party has initiated legal measures against him.
National Freedom Front (NFF), a coalition party of Sri Lankan government today demanded the government and the other political parties to suspend all connections with the major Tamil constituent Tamil National Alliance (TNA).
NFF politburo member Piyasiri Wijenayake says the government should not carry out discussions with the TNA.
NFF charges that TNA leader R. Sampanthan's recent statements amount to separatism and says the party has initiated legal measures against him.
Wijenayake further called for all political parties, civil societies and Tamil people to stand against Sampanthan.
NFF politburo member further suggested to deal with Sampanthan in a similar way the government dealt with Prabhakaran since Sampanthan was also propagating separatism.
