According to Attanayake, the governing party was abusing state property in its election campaign and public monies are wasted on such publicity.
He has added that jobs are being given and equipment is also distributed among people to win votes.
Attanayake has called on the Elections Commissioner to take action against the violation of elections or stop the elections.
