CWC demands for Rupees 500 wages for estate workers :

Estate worker unions who come under the collective agreements namely CWC, UNP backed National Estate Workers Union and (Joint Plantation Trade union of Ceylon (JPTUC) are to meet the Employer’s Federation of Ceylon (EFC) Members on August 31 (Monday) to decide on the wage increase for the estate workers.
