Today is the 23rd Anniversary of the Nagerkovil school bombing in which 39 school students were brutally killed.
The Sri Lankan Air Force bombed the Nagar Kovil Maha Vidyalayam school in Jaffna on September 22, 1995 at 12.50 pm resulting the death of 39 including 23 school children.
The Nager Kovil school bombing committed on September 22, 1995 by the Sri Lankan Air Force bombed the Nagar Kovil Maha Vidyalayam school in Jaffna, resulting in the death of, by varying accounts, 34-71 Sri Lankan Tamil civilians, primarily schoolchildren and the injury of more than 200.
23rd Anniversary of this brutal massacre is being commemorated today.
