The police have busted an ATM racket in Vavuniya and arrested four suspects in this connection, the Jaffna media quoted the police in the area as saying.
The police said that money had been stolen from ATM machines using various equipment.
Following a complaint received over the racket, an investigation was launched and the suspects were arrested.
The police said that among the suspects arrested was a Sri Lankan who had lived overseas.
