The number of total confirmed COVID-19 coronavirus cases in Sri Lanka has risen to 180 according to the Health Promotion Bureau report released at 11 am Tuesday.
Health authorities have confirmed that two new Coronavirus patients have been identified in the last 24 hours bringing the total active patients receiving treatment at hospitals to 136 while 257 individuals are hospitalized.
Six patients have died and 38 patients including the Chinese tourist, who was the first COVID-19 case detected in the country in January and discharged earlier this month, have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
