Police curfew has been imposed in the Negombo police division with immediate effect in order to control a tense situation, Police Media Spokesman, SP Ruwan Gunasekara said.
The curfew will be in effect until 7 am tomorrow morning.
It has been reported that the tense situation was a result of a personal dispute between two groups and the situation has been brought under control.
