General Public laid a siege to the Mulankavil Police Station -Reporter for Global Tamil News-

General Public laid a siege to the Mulankavil Police Station and staged a protest there. Acar came from Mannar area collided the thirteen-year-old Abinash who came to the street after completing Kariyalai Nagapudduvan church festival on last 17th and escaped from there.

The injured boy was admited to the Killinochchi hospital while he was at Coma Stage to receive treatment passed away day before yesterday at around 4 AM. Familiy member of this deceased boy have complained to the Police in this regard and they have handed over the Number Plate of the Car which was fallen on the road to the Police. However, action is yet to be taken.

Consequently, more than three hundred village people, religious leaders and those came from general organizations have marched from Nachchikuda junction to Mulankavil police station and they laid a siege to the Mulankavil Police Station.

This siege has been given up after the assurance given by the Assistant Superintendent of Police stating that suspect would be arrested the next day as the activities for arresting him were in progress.
