Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa will leave for India today (10) on a three-day-visit.
His entourage includes his son MP Namal Rajapaksa and former External Affairs Minister Prof. G.L. Peiris.
He was invited to visit India by Dr. Subramanian Swamy of the Baratiya Janatha Party (BJP). The former president will meet several government leaders as well as those in the opposition in that country, his private secretary Uditha Lokubandara said.
