Leader of the Opposition R. Sampanthan stated that proper respond to the issue relating to the release of lands in Keppapulavu would be given in 10 days.
He told the representatives of Keppapilavu with regard to this during the talks held yesterday at the Ministry of Resettlement.
DM Swaminathan, the Minister of Resettlement asked the representatives of Keppapulavu to give him time till the month of December as the fund for this has been allocated following the army who occupied these lands agreed to leave from there.
However, since the representatives of the people did not agree with it, Leader of the Opposition R. Sampanthan stated that proper respond to the issue relating to the release of lands in Keppapulavu would be given in 10 days.
