Relatives of those who were disappeared staged an attention drawn protest prior to the International Human Rights Day. This protest was organized by the Movement for Equality yesterday at 11 AM in front of Jaffna Central Bus Stand.
At this protest, relatives of those who were disappeared shouted slogans demanding the release of all details with regard to their loved ones.
Meanwhile, it is to be noted that Lalith and Kugan, the activists of the Movement for Equality were kidnapped in Jaffna by unidentified persons on 09th of December in 2011. Trial in this regard is being conducted at Jaffna Magistrate for five years.
