Validity period for curfew passes extended until April 30

The validity period of curfew permits issued for essential services until 10th April has been extended to till April 30, the Police Media announced.

Accordingly, the validity period to use service IDs as curfew passes for public and private sector essential services employees is also extended until April 30. The validity period was due to expire on April 10th.

Police said the employees of private and public sector essential services, such as ports, shipping companies, Sri Lanka Customs, Immigration and Emigration Department, health sector, petroleum services, telecommunications, power and water supply, Sri Lanka Transport Board, Railways, the Treasury, Central Bank and other government and private banks and media organizations were granted permission to use their service IDs as a curfew pass.
