Vietnam notes Sri Lanka’s key position in the Indian Ocean

Vietnam today noted the importance of Sri Lanka’s positioning in the Indian Ocean.

The Prime Minister of Vietnam, Nguyen Xuan Phuc said that his country will look to boost ties with Sri Lanka in several fields.

Nguyen Xuan Phuc expressed these views after holding bilateral talks with Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe today.

At the meeting both countries agreed to further boost the economic relations between both countries.
