Sri Lanka, India foreign ministers review bilateral relations

Sri Lankan Foreign Affairs Minister Ali Sabry, who is in India on an official visit to take part in the Raisina Dialogue, met with his Indian counterpart, External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar Saturday at Hyderabad House in New Delhi.

The Foreign Affairs Ministry said during the meeting the two Ministers reviewed the present status of Indo-Lanka relations and discussed investment, trade and development partnership at length.

Minister Ali Sabry said in a Twitter post that he was able to hold a productive discussion with the Indian Foreign Minister.

“We had a constructive bilateral meeting and reviewed the current status of Indo-Lanka relation,” he said.
