Army Commander Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake has been summoned to testify for a second time before the Parliament Select Committee probing the Easter Sunday attacks.
The Army Commander has been summoned to appear before the PSC when it meets again on Wednesday, July 31. The Army Commander testified before the Committee on June 26th.
Former Defense Ministry Secretary Kapila Waidyaratne is also scheduled to appear before the Select Committee on the same day.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe is due to testify before the special Parliamentary Select Committee on 6th August.
The committee is to also to question former law and order ministers Sagala Ratnayaka and Ranjith Madduma Bandara.
