Dr.Rajitha Senaratne MP files second Anticipatory Bail Application after his first Application was rejected

Former Health Minister and UNP MP Rajitha Senaratne yesterday filed a second anticipatory bail application before the Colombo Magistrate a day after his first.

His first application, made on Thursday, was rejected yesterday by Colombo Chief Magistrate Lanka Jayarathna.

Senaratne has filed the bail application, seeking to prevent his arrest regarding the ‘White Van Drivers’ press conference organised by him shortly before the recent Presidential Elections.
