Even on the New Year Day, the relatives of those who were disappeared have been seeking their loved ones for continuous 421 days in front of the Killinochchi Kandaswamy temple.
The protest started staging 20th of February last year demanding the reveal of the whereabouts of those who were disappeared and the release of them has been continuing for 421 days.
Even on the Tamil-Sinhala New Year Day, the relatives of those who were disappeared have been seeking their loved ones have been cooking their foods and keep on continuing their protests.
The relatives of those who were disappeared stated that all sections have left them isolated and further expressed their anxiety by stating that none except them could realize the pain of them.
Our political representatives have failed to make use of the opportunities to meet a solution to issue of those who were disappeared, Mrs. Anantharajah Leelavathy, the coordinator of the movement of the relatives of those who were disappeared in Killinochchi, added.
