Ex-cadres including those who became differently abled belonging to Naanaddan Divisional Secretariat expressed their anxiety that they are denied all the Aid Schemes.
Ex-cadres including those who became differently abled belonging to Naanaddan Divisional Secretariat had more than two discussions with the officials Naanaddan Divisional Secretariat and the coordinators of the Presidential Secretariat this year.
Though, there were some registration process happened following these discussions, they are yet to be provided any assistances.
More than 60 ex-cadres and 15 differently abled have been living in Naanaddan area. Naanaddan Divisional Secretariat has faled to uplift the livelihood of these ex-cadres, who work for daily wedge. It might be a huge help for them if they were at least provided the flood relief and draught relief.
They further expressed their anxiety that they were also denied the assistances from Gampereliya Scheme which was allocated to the Divisional Secretariat.
