Former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa filed a revision petition before Court of Appeal today seeking to be discharged from the Avant-Garde case.
The Bribery Commission had filed a case against Rajapaksa and seven others accusing them of causing a Rs. 11.4 billion loss to the Government through the Avant Garde floating armoury.
Petitions filed earlier by Gotabaya Rajapaksa seeking to be discharged from the Avant-Garde case had been rejected.
