Jaffna Public Library has been donated 50,000 books by the Tamilnadu State Government. These books have been handed over by the Education Minister of Tamilnadu State Government Senkottaian to the Jaffna Municipal Council Mayor Immanuel Arnold in an even held at the Jaffna Public Library yesterday morning.

Regionold Cooray, the Governor of the Northern Provincial Council, the Jaffna Municipal Council Mayor Immanuel Arnold, TNA Parliamentarians Mavai Senathirajah, Tharmalingam Sitharthan, E.Saravanapavan and several other representatives of both Sri Lanka and India have participated in this event.
