Representing the feelings of our people with regard to the Mullivaikal Commemoration, University Community has come forward to mark Mullivaikal Commemoration jointly.
Accepting the official request made by the students through Medias, Chief Minister Justice C.V.Wigneshwaran has decided to meet the students yesterday at 5PM.
Despite the arrangements made to hold the discussions with regard to marking the Mullivaikal Remembrance at the “Kailasapathi Hall”, the permission for it has been denied by the University Administration.
Subsequently, the discussion in this regard held at a Guest House located at Thirunelveli.
In this discussion held yesterday (11), student representatives of all faculties of the University of Jaffna participated.
Following this discussion, student representatives spoke to Media. they are going to mark Mullivaikal Commemoration jointly, they stated.
