A meeting of the representatives of the movement of the relatives of those who were disappeared in all eight districts in the northern and eastern provinces held at Vavuniya. During this meeting, it is called for a massive protest by mobilizing all eight districts in the northern and easter provinces.
While speaking to the press after this meeting, K.Thavarasa, the spokesperson of the movement for those who were disappeared in Vavuniya district, stated that a massive protest is going to be staged on 30th of this month at Vavuniya Old Bus Stand.
This protest demands the justice for those who were disappeared and emphasizes the justice should be brought at the sessions of the United Nations Human Rights Commission which is going to be held in the month of March in Geneva.
Representatives of the movement of the relatives of those who were disappeared requested all such as politicians, Civil Societies, University Students, Social Organizations, etc. They expressed their hope that this protest which is going to be staged in collaboration of all would be a success.
