Parliament Public gallery to remain closed

The Parliament public gallery which was closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, will remained closed until further notice.

The Serjeant at Arms of Parliament Narendra Fernando said that the public gallery will be remained closed until recommendations are received from the health authorities.

The ninth Parliament of Sri Lanka convened for the first time last week.

The new Parliament convened by following health guidelines issued to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
