People demanded the Presidential Task Force on Reconciliation that they want Martyrs’ monuments

People of Killinochchi together demanded the Presidential Task Force on Reconciliation that they want Martyrs’ monuments in order to commemorate their relatives who sacrificed their lives.

This demand was demanded at the second session held at Karaichi Divisional Secretariat on last Saturday.

Following are further added by them;

We want Martyrs’ monuments to pay tribute to our dead relatives and to express our sorrow feelings. We demand that the day (May 18) on which war victory is celebrated should be declared as the day for paying tributes to our deceased relatives.
