Privately owned lands of six land owners are going to be grabbed for building a Police Station -Reporter for Global Tamil News-

16 unit areas of privately owned land belonging to 6 owners are going to be seized to build the Manipai Police Station, according to notice sent to the land owners through Divisional Secretariat.

These privately owned lands situated at the Manipai Police Station are being occupied by the Police for more than 24 years. They have sent a notice to the land owners through the Divisional Secretariat with the intention of seizing it permanently as per the Land Acquisition Act.

Consequently, the land owners wrote a letter to the Divisional Secretary stating that they do not like to give their own lands to the Police.
