Attention drawn struggle demanding the release of all Tamil Political Prisoners incarcerated in the prisons has been staged yesterday. This protest organized by the public organizations held at Jaffna Central Bus Stand even in the midst of raining.

Political Prisoners in the Anuradhapura prison have been staging hunger protest demanding their release. Many sectors have been staging protests at several places to express their solidarity with the protests of Political Prisoners and demanding the release of the Tamil Political Prisoners.

Thus, political parties together with public organizations staged protest at Jaffna.
