Rishad gives 9-hour long statement

Former Minister and ACMC leader Rishad Bathiudeen has left the CID premises after giving a statement for over 9 hours.

Bathiudeen appeared before the CID at 10.30 AM this morning to give a statement on the Easter Sunday attacks.

Speaking to the media from the CID premises, Bathiudeen said he gave his fullest cooperation to the CID about the Easter Sunday probe.

“They asked me about the work of the institutions coming under my previous ministry. I told them everything I knew about the incident,”he added.
