Sri Lanka Sunday reported that 45 deaths due to COVID-19 occurred on Saturday, July 03, 2021.
The Director General of Health Services Sunday confirmed that 45 deaths occurred on Saturday, July 03 due to the COVID-19.
Among the Saturday’s dead are 21 males and 25 males. The majority of the deaths numbering 35 are of the people in the 60 years and above age group.
According to the data reported by the Government Information Department, the total deaths due to Covid-19 since the pandemic began last March has now risen to 3,236 including the deaths confirmed Saturday.
