Sri Lankan Government is an attempt to take steps to release the lands occupied by the Sri Lankan Armed Forces

Mullaitivu GA Rupavathy Katheeshwaran has visited the place where people of Pilakkudiyiruppu are engaged in protest while this protest demanding the release of the lands of people has been staging for fourteen days.

She stated that assurance made to her by stating that the Sri Lankan government is going to take steps to release the lands of people. She added that Minister of Resettlement had spoke to the President and the Minister of Defense with regard to this.

She further added that the intention of her visit to convey the message given to her by the Minister of Defense stating that steps are going to be taken to release the lands of people.
