All government schools which were recently closed due to the coronavirus epidemic will resume studies only for Grade 11, 12 and 13 students today (July 27).
According to the Ministry of Education, academic activities are conducted for those grades from 7.30 am to 3.30 pm.
The Ministry of Education informed that only teachers who teach for those grades should report to the schools today.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education has decided to resume academic activities for all other grades from the 10th of August.
The Ministry has emphasized to all school authorities that schools should be run in accordance with the guidelines given by the health authorities and the special instructions given by the Ministry of Education in bringing students to schools.
The Ministry has given instructions to take necessary measures when children enter the schools, during their stay and leaving the schools adhering to to the health guidelines.
