The name list of the external members of the academic senate, which has supreme academic authority, has been released by the University Grants Commission yesterday evening.
The tenure of the all 29 members of the academic senate inclusive of the newly elected 15 external members and the 14 internal academic members will be for next three years.
It is expected that the first meeting of the newly formed senate will be held on 29th of April.
