The Tamil National Alliance (TNA) says that, if the party is continuously being accused of having secret pacts with the United National Party (UNP) they will reveal what Mahinda Rajapaksa’s Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) has promised the party.
TNA Parliamentarian M.A Sumanthiran said that the TNA had supported Ranil Wickremesinghe as the Prime Minister without any agreement.
MP Sumanthiran said that the Tamil National Alliance has been continuously accused of having secret agreements with the United National Front (UNF) belittling the steps taken by the TNA to safeguard the democracy in Sri Lanka.
If the situation persists, the TNA will reveal the pledges given by the SLPP including MP Namal Rajapaksa during discussions with the party seeking its support.
