UNP Working Committee decides party leader must not change

The Working Committee of the United National Party (UNP) has decided that the party leadership must not change.

The Working Committee reached the decision based on a majority opinion.

Accordingly it was decided that Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe must continue as the UNP leader.
