{"id":10406,"date":"2021-01-31T06:28:50","date_gmt":"2021-01-31T06:28:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/globaltamilnews.net\/english\/?p=10406"},"modified":"2021-01-31T06:28:53","modified_gmt":"2021-01-31T06:28:53","slug":"navy-seizes-kerala-cannabis-worth-over-rs-23-million","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/globaltamilnews.net\/english\/navy-seizes-kerala-cannabis-worth-over-rs-23-million\/","title":{"rendered":"Navy seizes Kerala Cannabis worth over Rs 23 million"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sri Lanka Navy has recovered 67kg and 500g of Kerala Cannabis during a special operation carried out in Manthai yesterday (January 29).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The consignment was found hidden at two separate locations in the shrubs near Manthai beach, the Navy said in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to reports, the street value of the substances is believed to be more than Rs 23 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In another development, the Navy had recovered 31kg of Kerala Cannabis on Tuesday (January 26) from the same area.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kerala Cannabis seized during the raid has been handed over to the Vankalai Police for further investigations.
