This particular protest has been staged at Vavuniya and Omanthai in the morning, at Iranaimadu military camp in the afternoon and at Paravipanchan in the evening.<\/p>\n<p>The youths covering their mouth with black clothes marched to Killinochchi Military Headquarters staged their protests in front of the Iranaimadu Kanakambigai temple.<\/p>\n<p>They demanded the following slogans;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo not play the political drama in the land issues\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe lands appropriated by the occupying Sri Lankan military should immediately be released\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Agricultural farms, animal farms, trade centers, restaurants and hostels are being run by the military soldiers in our lands which are the only source for our livelihoods. Our people are facing financial hardships though they have own lands in their native soil.
