{"id":324,"date":"2016-11-22T03:52:11","date_gmt":"2016-11-22T03:52:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/globaltamilnews.net\/english\/?p=324"},"modified":"2016-11-22T03:52:11","modified_gmt":"2016-11-22T03:52:11","slug":"gammanpila-tells-lanka-to-follow-india-on-currency-note","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/globaltamilnews.net\/english\/gammanpila-tells-lanka-to-follow-india-on-currency-note\/","title":{"rendered":"Gammanpila tells Lanka to follow India on currency note"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Pivithuru Hela Urumaya (PHU) has urged the Government to follow the example set by the Modi Government in India to destroy the black market.<\/p>\n<p>PHU leader Udaya Gammanpila urged the Sri Lankan government to demonetise Rs 5,000 currency note, India Today reported.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to the media, PHU MP Udaya Gammanpila said, \u201cDemonetisation would reveal the identities of those who have black money in the country. We can see if it is with Rajapakse or the central bank thieves.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Udaya Gammanpila lashed out at the Maithripala Sirisena for not making enough efforts to unearth black money stashed abroad and in the country.<\/p>\n<p>He said, \u201cThe Government had appointed a committee to find stolen state assets.
