It is reported that unidentified set fire to the Periyakadai Jummah Mosque belonging to the Trincomalee Port Police area.
In this incident occurred on Friday night, the carpets inside the mosque were burned down. Also, it is reported that petrol filled bottle has also been identified at the premises of Mosque.
As the renovation activities are being taken place in this Mosque, mosque building which is temporarily being used for prayer has been attacked, according to the sources.
