The number of total confirmed COVID-19 coronavirus cases in Sri Lanka has risen to 143 according to the Health Promotion Bureau report at 11 pm yesterday.
Health authorities have confirmed that 20 more Coronavirus patients have been found since yesterday bringing the total active patients receiving treatment at hospitals to 123 while 173 individuals are hospitalized.
Two patients have died and 17 patients including the Chinese tourist, who was the first COVID-19 case detected in the country in January and discharged earlier this month, have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
