Differently abled people expressed their anxiety that they are unable to use the access facility available to them at the Killinochchi Railway Station.
They pointed out that the inclination of the access facility available to the differently abled persons is not made properly for the wheel chairs to be moved.
In addition, though the access facility for the differently abled persons is must in the public buildings as per law, it is not in practice in most of the buildings. Thus, their free movement is disrupted.
In a few public buildings, the access facility for the differently abled persons is made with high concern even by placing marbles. Unfortunately, they are unable to use those access facilities due to the lack of inclination.
