The struggle at Keppapulavu will continue to take back the 482 acres of lands which are yet to be released by the occupying Sri Lankan Armed Forces -Special Correspondent for Global Tamil News-

Native people of Keppapulavu has been staging their protest demanding the immediate release of 482 acres of land, which is yet to be released, for last six days. They started their continuous protest in front of the Military Headquarters in Mullaitivu demanding the occupying Sri Lankan Armed Forces to release the lands belonging to them.

The protestors who gathered in front of the main gate of Military Headquarters is crying for the immediate release of their lands while raising slogans against the occupying Sri Lankan Military. This protest has been staged demanding the immediate release of more than 482 acres of lands belonging to 128 families.

Occupying Sri Lankan Military is positioned in all four villages which come under Keppapulavu GS Division such as ancient Keppapulavu Village, Seeniyamottai, Pilakkudiyiruppu ad Sooripuram. Apart from Keppapulavu village, most of the areas belonging to other three villages have already been released.

In the meantime, several Military Camps were established by positioning more than 10 Military Divisions through taking over the residential areas, houses, schools, temples, paddy fields, agricultural lands and play grounds by blockading the main road located in Ancient Keppapulavu Village.
