It has been demanded in the meeting of Coordinating Committee held yesterday that co-chairs of the Coordinating Committee should take proper actions to make financial assistances available to the differently-abled persons in Jaffna District.
About the developmental activities that are being carried out, the developmental activities that are to be carried out and the issues and needs of the district have been discussed in this meeting.
Only 2255 differently-abled persons are provided the financial assistances and 5200 differently-abled persons are to be provided the financial assistance, Vethanayaham, the Government Agent of Jaffna District, pointed out.
It has been pointed out that having considered the issues that the differently-abled persons face and the needs of them, all of them must be provided the financial assistances.
Following the co-chairs have been asked to take necessary actions to make the financial assistances to the differently-abled persons, co-chairs assured that needful actions must be taken in this regard.
