Tamil National People’s Front (TNPF) President Gajendrakumar Ponnambalam and ten others have been ordered to be placed under isolation after they took part in an event to commemorate the deaths in Mullivaikal during the final stages of the war in 2009.
Gajendrakumar Ponnambalam and the other 10 had attended an event to mark the anniversary of the deaths in Mullivaikal yesterday (Sunday).
Following the event the Jaffna Police had submitted a report to court and the court ordered that Gajendrakumar and the 10 others be placed under isolation at their homes.
