Government reaches out to Tamils in Jaffna

The Government yesterday reached out to the Tamils in Jaffna to help rebuild the district.

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe yesterday sought support to help rebuild infrastructure in Jaffna.

Speaking in Jaffna, the Prime Minister said that the Government is determined to improve the lives of people in Jaffna.

Construction work on a new Municipal Council in Jaffna was launched yesterday with the participation of the Prime Minister and Minister of Megapolis and Western Development Champika Ranawaka.

Ranawaka said that several development projects have been identified and will be implemented in Jaffna.
