Indian Navy Ship Nireekshak arrives at Sri Lanka’s Trincomalee harbor

Sri Lanka Navy in compliance with naval customs ceremonially welcomed the Indian Navy Ship (INS) Nireekshak arrived at the Port of Trincomalee on Monday (25 November) on a training visit, the Colombo Page reported.

Commanding Officer of the vessel, Commander BK Prashant called on Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Merril Wickramasinghe and held a cordial discussion.

INS Nireekshak, a diving support vessel of the Indian Navy, is scheduled to leave the island on 03rd December 2019, on completion of the training visit.
