People face inconveniences as main roads which lead to the released lands in Mullikulam have been closed by barbed wires yesterday (31/11), Rev.Fr. Lowrence Lio stated.
Main road which leads to Mullikulam village through Naval Base was blocked by navy by placing fence made out of barbed wires and then it has been opened following the fierce opposition of the people on 21.10.2018. Meanwhile, this road has once again been blocked. Consequently, people of Mulikulam face several issues, he further added.
Those who came to school and other needs through this road faced several issues yesterday. Meanwhile, people of Mullikulam stated that massive protest condemning such activities of navy is going to be staged by the people and students.
