Many Parliamentarians, including those from the ruling parties, have complained they have received threats from individuals, saying they would face consequences if they vote for Ranil Wickremesinghe in Wednesday’s Presidential vote, the Daily Mirror learns.

The Parliamentarians said they had received threats from individuals on their social media accounts that they would face the brunt if their votes were cast for Wickremesinghe.
