Sarah Hulton OBE has been appointed as the new British High Commissioner to Sri Lanka.
She will succeed current High Commissioner James Dauris.
James Dauris will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment.
Mrs Hulton will take up her appointment during August 2019, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office said today.
She is currently Deputy Director at the Human Resources Directorate at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
