Sangeetha, the daughter of Satchithananthan Ananthasuthakaran, who is a Political Prisoner and a Life Convict, wrote a heart touching letter to Chadurika, the daughter of the President Maithripala Srisena, requesting the president’s daughter to ask her father Maithripala to release her father on presidential pardon.

All were heartbroken seeing the daughter of Ananthasuthakaran was getting into the Prison Vehicle with her father, who came on parole to attend his wife’s funeral, who passed away on 15/03/2018 due to illness, while he was being taken to Prison Vehicle after the funeral.

Having considered the pathetic plight of Kanirathan and Sangeetha who are living without both father and mother, their father Ananthasuthakaran should be released on presidential pardon, according to the demands of many sections.

Meanwhile, Sangeetha wrote a heart touching letter to Chadurika yesterday (22). Following are mentioned in that letter;

Loving Chathuri Akka!

I and my elder brother are orphans after the demise of our mother and being separated from our father. My father was arrested when I was in my mother’s stomach. I had no chance to be with my father till today though I am 10 years old. I have had a chance to sit on my father’s lap in my mother’s funeral though it was for very little time. I and my elder brother wants to stay with our father in this home where mother is no more.

Akka!

You know the love and value of the father. You are pleased to ask your father to release my father on presidential pardon.

Akka!

I have hope in your father beyond the god now as your father can only be able to release my father in this world. You are pleased to tell your father to do so. We do not like to live in this home where both father and mother are not here.

Thinking of me as your sister, you too are pleased to help for the release of my father.

Yours lovingly,

Sangeetha
