Deputy Leader of the United National Party (UNP) Minister of Housing and Cultural Affairs Sajith Premadasa says the UNP will take the most appropriate decision when it comes to selecting its presidential candidate.
Speaking to media after the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers yesterday, Minister Premadasa said, all rallies that are being organized, are to protect, uplift, and secure the Party.
“All these endeavors are to strengthen the party. The hope is to surmount all challengers,” he told the state run radio SLBC.
He also said, since he is always with the people, there will be no issue in this respect.
The Minister is scheduled to address a public rally organized by his supporters in the UNP at Sathywadi Grounds inKurunegala on 5th September.
