Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena was the Chief Guest at the Pakistan Republic Day celebrations held in Islamabad, on Friday (23) on a grand scale to mark the 78th National Day.
The President was warmly received by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi when he arrived at the venue.
With the arrival of the President Sirisena the program commenced, and the dignitaries including the Presidents of both countries observed the tri forces parade, cultural pageant and Air show.
